    Bridget Carlson BSW, RSW

    Bridget is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at Dalhousie University and holds a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) from Nipissing University.

    With over 10 years of experience, Bridget has worked with a diverse range of marginalized populations, providing trauma-informed, client-centred, and strength-based support. She offers mental health counselling to individuals of all ages, including children, youth, adults, as well as couples and families, with a focus on mental health, addictions, and behavioural concerns.

    Bridget utilizes evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to help clients achieve meaningful change and personal growth. Her approach is grounded in the belief that fundamental human needs for safety, connection, and purpose are essential for long-term well-being. She works with clients to support their healing, empowerment, and fulfillment.

    Bridget is committed to creating a supportive, non-judgmental space for self-discovery and growth. She offers flexible appointment options, including in-person, video conferencing, or phone sessions, to best meet her clients' needs.

    Bridget is a registered member (Qualifying) in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers.
