Emily MacDonald SSW, RSSW, PsyT
Emily is a graduate of the Social Service Worker program at Algonquin College where she developed a strong passion for supporting individuals navigating life's challenges.
She brings hands-on experience working with children and individuals with neurodivergence, supporting them in developing confidence, communication, and coping strategies. Emily’s practice is grounded in a trauma-informed lens, ensuring that safety, trust, and respect guide every therapeutic relationship.
Emily integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and the Gottman Method (Level One) to help individuals and couples work toward their personal goals. She is committed to creating a collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based environment where clients can feel empowered and supported.
Emily offers counselling services both in-person and virtually, tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs.
Emily is registered in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
