Joy Levesque BA-Psych, SSW, RSSW
Joy is a compassionate social service worker and PsyT completing her Master of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University. With over 14 years of experience in mental health and addictions, she has worked in diverse settings such as hospitals, schools, and crisis services. Specializing in attachment-focused, trauma-informed care for clients aged 12 and older, Joy offers a warm, down-to-earth approach.
Recognizing that no single method works for everyone, she tailors modalities to each client, fostering a collaborative and nonjudgmental environment. Her practice draws on several modalities, including CBT, DBT, Brainspotting™, Polyvagal Theory, Internal Family Systems, and narrative therapy.
Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW), Joy provides services in person, by phone, or via video to ensure comfort and accessibility for all clients.
