Krista Scott, MACP (Student), BA, RP (Qualifying)
Krista is currently completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She previously completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Mary’s University. Krista plans to register as a Counselling Therapist in Nova Scotia and a Psychotherapist in Ontario.
Krista is passionate about providing a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions and work toward their goals. Her approach is client-centred and integrative, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities to best meet individual needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Brief Solution-Focused Therapy.
Outside of her counselling work, Krista is a dedicated hockey parent, spending much of her winter at the rink. In the summer, she enjoys camping, boating, and spending time in nature. She is also an avid reader and values quality time with her family and friends.
